Marlow and I | | |
| Wow! A lot has been going on. For those of you who don't know the recent happenings in my family: My younger sister is pregnant, my older sister got married on 11/26, and I got engaged on 11/21. craziness. I know that last one is probably a shocker to a lot of you. some of you barely knew I was dating. Well, Marlow and I began dating about a year ago. Last 11/21, I told her that I was interested in her. 3 days later, on Thanksgiving day, she told me she was also interested in me. I kept it quiet for awhile, because, that's what I tend to do, not wanting to rush things or add any pressure to either of us. So, we'd been dating for about a year and then this 11/21 I proposed at a train bridge over the San Jaoquin River with the birds chirping, the river gently flowing about 30 feet below us and the sun setting. I'll try to get a better picture of the two of us as soon as I can. | | |
| Wow, this is a month of many weddings. 3 that I'll be attending, that is. It's crazy. Today I'm going to my girlfriend's twin sister's wedding. In two weeks, I'll be at a church friend's wedding and the week after that, I'll be at my own sister's wedding. Craziness. Well, I know I have lots of updating to do. oh well. The news on me: I am working full time at a computer software company here in Fresno, working directly under my sister's fiancee. I have a girlfriend named Marlow and we've been dating for a while (4-11 months). Anyone who really knows me knows that an exact date for starting to date is kind of an ambiguous thing in my book. I included am including a picture of her and two other people you may recognize. Sorry I've been so non-existent. I love most of you.

| I am still alive. Life is going well. I am still tutoring although I was able to get in a month of subbing at the end of the school year. That will continue next semester. I am still planning on being a teacher. I'll probably go back to school in the spring. I'm still hiking. I did a day hike of Half Dome two weeks ago. It took about 13 hours from start to finish. I'll be backpacking into Half Dome again over 4th of July weekend. We'll also be seeing Cloud's Rest. Yosemite gurus know what I'm talking about and for everyone else, there's Google. this is my life. I'll report back in a few months. | | |
| Well, I'm living it up right now... just spent the last hour looking through 5 rolls of film that I just got back. And now I'm listening to Arrogant Worms too! Can that be beat? I think not. I can't believe all the memories I'd forgotten or only half remembered. Z, I have so many good pix of you in Yosemite. Nothing too new in my life. Still tutoring. Still planning on subbing next semester. Hope you enjoy these pix from the last year or so. I'm including my favorite from each roll.
